Our Mayor Tim Keller posted up on Facebook that there was a mysterious monolith that appeared on the early evening of Sunday Dec 8 2020.

After posting on Monday, many locals stopped by to see it and even tagged their names or added stickers to it within the first 24 hours completely vandalizing it.
Apparently a group of young individuals didn't want it there and decided to take it down and haul it away. It is reported to have been seen on FB Marketplace for sale for $10,000 and a photo of it in someone's living room.

UPDATE: APD (Albuquerque Police Dept) recovered stolen Monolith a few hours ago!

We were going to rush over to find it and check it out on Monday after seeing the Mayor's post but decided to wait until today after going to an appointment in the area. But it was removed during the night on Monday night, barely surviving 24 hours here in Albuquerque.

There is possibly a second one that has also been spotted in Albuquerque in front of a local restaurant. I will try to find it and post a new video!
