Crossed Over -- John 5:24 is Past Tense #shorts

John 5:24 says you have crossed over from death to life when you believed in Jesus Christ. It is past tense. Be encouraged. Now walk in the light of your new life in Christ. You are a new creature. Your position is secured. By grace, through faith, you are saved and not of works. Now you should do good works and grow in fellowship with God, living in the spirit and not the flesh. If we do sin and we know it, we confess it to Him and He is faithful to cleanse us. But know that He has already forgiven you all your sin so that the sin you are not even aware of is forgiven. Be grateful for your free gift of salvation and continue to grow in the Lord and hang out with other Christians and study the Bible. Give thanks always. God is cheering you on.
