Are You A Justified Righteous Dude? #shorts

This video asks if we can be justified and righteous on our own. Do you consider yourself a righteous dude? A good guy? What does it mean to be justified or declared righteous?

Romans 3:23 says that 'all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God'. We can't meet the standard of God's glory because of our sin, which, try as we might, cannot completely stop doing. Nobody can. Even the most seemingly righteous person still sins sometimes.

Jesus said that you can even sin in your thoughts. Scientists say we have 70 000 thoughts a day. How can we be sure there isn't one angry, spiteful, unforgiving, jealous, lustful, envious, vengeful, mean-spirited thought among all those thousands we have in a day?
Jesus told the self-righteous Pharisees, that they think they keep the Law of Moses and the ten commandments, that they do not commit adultery or murder, but Jesus told them that even if they look with lust upon a woman, they have committed adultery in their hearts and that if they have hate for their brother, then they have committed murder in their hearts. He was showing them that it's impossible to be perfectly without sin no matter how hard they strive. That they could never be Justified (declared righteous) by keeping the Law of Moses.
And no amount of good works can make up for the sin barrier that is between us and God. But Jesus provided a way to remove that barrier.
John 1:29.
If you believe the Lamb of God, Jesus, took your sin from you, when He died on the cross, then you are declared JUSTIFIED by God. He calls you righteous forever.
And our good works do not justify us either. Isaiah in Is 64:6 said 'our righteous acts are as filthy rags'.
Faith in Jesus for eternal life apart from works means we are justified --declared righteous by God.

On this channel, I endeavor to teach the simplicity of the Gospel which is faith alone in Jesus Christ apart from works. Eternal Life is promised if you believe that Jesus is the Messiah and saved you. If you believe the promise, you have received everlasting life now and you have passed from death to life, and have been sealed with the Holy Spirit to that day when you receive your glorified, sinless body.
