CSTO Allies: 30 Years Protecting Collective Security
‘I think the CSTO has become a major factor of stability and security in its area of responsibility over the last thirty years.’
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan praised the 30-year work of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, including Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. Over the decades, the CSTO has become an influential organisation on the international political scene. The countries are ready to counter external aggression and fight terrorism and drug crime together. In addition, they can carry out peacekeeping missions, as happened in January 2022 in Kazakhstan, where there was mass rioting.
In our new documentary CSTO Allies: 30 Years Protecting Collective Security, you can learn more about what threats the military-political bloc is facing now.
