Work Resumes on the Airbnb, But We Had To See the Voyageurs National Park Flood of 2022.

Electrical, demo, and flood... oh my! As work continues on our airbnb, the flood waters continue to rise at our family cabin near Voyageurs National Park. We love our time up at our special retreat by the Park so it was a complete juxtaposition of amazement and devastation to see the water so high at our beloved "favorite place on earth." Cabins under water, beaches are gone, campsites closed, businesses unable to operate..... but still hauntingly beautiful as nature does her thing. I wish we could've traveled further to explore more of the flood, but we did what we could.
A wonderful weekend was had at the cabin, but the show must go on at home and at the rental.
