Hey brothers and sisters who love to think about Jesus coming to take us up to heaven. It's long I know, but there are many subjects to talk about in these very last days. The truth is hard to find, and if you don't have the Spirit of God to help you study the Bible and discern for yourself, you may believe pastors, elders and Christian counselors who tell you they know if your remarriage is under grace or not. I read a chapter on repentance and questions and answers from the book One Flesh: A Biblical Perspective on the Permanence of Marriage. The chapter is Permanence of Adultery. The seminaries have taught illogical and absurd doctrines that everyone can feel comfortable with but will cause you and them to be left behind, and they recommend a very poor book by Jay Adams. Very simply, it is about their Pharisee spirit and pride that they know better than the born again, Spirit led Christian. Adultery and all sins can be forgiven, if you admit it and quit it. If you will really watch until the end, you will have great hope that the gospel and power of Jesus Christ will lead you to all truth and give you the hope of the rapture (1 Thessalonians 4).

Suffering for Doing Good

13Now, who will want to harm you if you are eager to do good? 14But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats. 15Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it. 16But do this in a gentle and respectful way. Keep your conscience clear. Then if people speak against you, they will be ashamed when they see what a good life you live because you belong to Christ. 17Remember, it is better to suffer for doing good, if that is what God wants, than to suffer for doing wrong!

18Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit.

22Now Christ has gone to heaven. He is seated in the place of honor next to God, and all the angels and authorities and powers accept his authority.
