Silent Hill Inspired Rusty Metal Grating Demo (3DS Max)
#SilentHill #3DSMax #Render
This was a very quick render in 3DS Max to see how the models and Substance Painter textures would work. The Metal Grating is modular in nature, and I still have 3 more pieces to include before it is finished. Next, will be pipping under neath as well as using this in a Silent Hill Otherworld interior similar to the likes of Silent Hill 3. I may at some point try to re-create an outside scene like in Silent Hill 1 with rain and other effects once I learn how.
This was done by simply exporting an image sequence to PNG at 1920x1080, then putting the frames together on a timeline within Vegas Pro, and then simply adding some music. The Camera is moving on a line track in 3DS Max by simply making the line a path constraint, and connecting the camera to that path.
