Diagnostic Patterns - Fixing digital Pianos

I get lots of questions about diagnosing things so I'm going to try and share more ideas about how to diagnose problems. These are concepts that apply to anything, not just pianos or amplifiers. This specific piano is the Roland HP1500 with certain keys not working.
