Craftsman Tool warranty at Lowes

I saw 65 ford (Moe) bring some tools back to Lowes and get new ones under craftsman's lifetime warranty. I wondered if my Lowes in Marshall Texas would honor the warranty too. They did! I brought 4 old non working 1/4 inch drive ratchets in and they gave me 4 new ones. That was all the craftsman tools that I had that were defective. I will go back to buying craftsman tools now.
