- With approximately 254 active shooter events in 2002, we are seeing more than one a day now somewhere in the United States. It's so hard for the media to even keep up with what's going on in this country.

- Be prepared in advance of when someone comes in to kill people. Know your exit points. Know where you can hide. Know what method of attack you will do in case someone comes in with a rifle or pistol. Your methodology will change based off the weapon they are using, or if there are multiple gunmen.

- While at work, perhaps you want to keep your weapon in your car, and access it from the back door of the building should an active shooter enter your workplace.
