Abstract

In this video, we will be discussing what some call the French and Indian War, and others refer to as the Seven Years’ War. Diving into its history we discuss how the war erupted with one military officer committing an atrocity. Additionally, Fort Necessity is explored briefly along with its fall and the false confession to murder. Lastly, we discuss the Acadian populations expulsion and how this diaspora changed the makeup of North America. The Seven Years’ War has had long-lasting effects on both Canada and America, which are visible even in the Southern United States.
