In Michigan, the session of the meeting of the electors was opened with "Lift Every Voice and Sing". Its not that this act has pissed be off, far from it. I love this song what pisses me of the the fact that it is being used as a political tool and thus tarnishing the song and the legacy of James Weldon Johnson.
