Here's a clip from 2010 where Justin Trudeau insisted in front of several journalists that he wasn't going to be taking away anyone's guns.

In another clip from May 30, 2022, he announced, as Prime Minister, that he was putting a cap on handguns in Canada and making it impossible to buy or sell handguns anywhere in Canada.

Elsewhere he had said it's not a ban, suggesting that the cap isn't permanent, but we know better. This video is proof of his real intentions.

How will he enact the ban? Through use of an Order-in-Council, a completely legal but little-known mechanism through which he can bypass Parliament, bypass the will of the people, and (at least temporarily) bypass the courts.

Is this the kind of man we want running the country? Someone who can arbitrarily take away your property and rights, on a whim, or when he thinks it's politically expedient?
