6 ways to increase intensity without increasing weight!

There is so much you can do to increase the intensity and variation of workouts. Play around with these… 😄👊

1 - Slow eccentric contraction - Take 3-4 seconds on the lowering phase.

2 - Pause reps - Pause at the peak contraction for a second.

3 - Isometric holds - Hold in the middle of the rep.

4 - Pulse reps - pulse in the middle range of the rep without releasing tension.

5 - Explosive or plyometric - Work on a fast concentric contraction.

6 - Mind to muscle squeeze! - Tense the s#%$ out of the target muscle 😆
