Erika Sanzi, Director of Outreach at Parents Defending Education Providence County, Rhode Island, once again speaks on behalf of protecting minors from age 14 on up from sexual predatory contact from persons of authority.

Current Rhode Island law allows non penetration sex with a 14 year old and an adult to the age of 16.

This bill seeks to close the loophole to prevent any sexual contact from a person of authority while a minor is in their care or placed in their trust.
