Making the Athearn blue box Alco PA-1 ready to install DCC. We'll be using a super smooth 24v motor that draws a tiny amount of amps but has a lot of torque. We'll make some 3D printed parts will be used to match the universal joints and drive shafts. We'll also make a 3D printed cradle for the motor. Now that it's all wired up we can test it on the track.
