Ex-muslim Christmas message

What is Christmas? the true meaning and purpose of Christmas is that God came in human flesh to rescue and save humanity from eternal damnation. Jesus is God's Christmas Gift to the world. let's remember that our joy and happiness do not depend on worldly circumstances but true joy comes from the Lord Jesus and knowing Him. I personally grew up in a muslim family and muslim country, i did not have the privilege of growing up in a christian home to celebrate christmas, in fact most of the year we mourned and wept for islamic mullahs and islamic rituals, but when the Lord Jesus reached out to me in the midst of my depression and hopelessness , my life changed forever. my circumstances had not changed but my heart was filled with the joy of knowing the truth of the good news of the Gospel. I know we had a tough year, but regardless of that we can still rejoice in the Lord. let us fix our eyes on Him and rejoice in HIm.
