Magic Rises, Book 6, Kat Daniels Series, plus series primer

Book Club review for Book 6 in the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews.
This review turned into a series primer as well. We had to throw in some background because we haven't done a review of any of the other books in the series yet.
The series is set in post-apocalyptic Atlanta. Though this particular story takes you back to the old world.
Want a fast fun read - this is a good series for that.

Some minor spoilers may have leaked out, but they should be minimal.
