it cost $10,500 to have 1,400 transplants in 2000, then in 2002 it cost $7,500 for 1,400 hair transplants done. the doctor cuts a 1.125 strip of hair between ears in the back then stitches it up.
then 3 or 4 nurses cut that stipes of hair into 1, 2 & 3 hair increments while the doctor pokes holes in a doll pattern with different size hypo needles, then the nurses & doctor all plant those hair increments into those holes. it a local Anesthesia. it took about 8 hours each hair transplants session. once the hair is removed its removed from the bald area of your DNA therefore it never goes bald again.
