The Decision that could Repel Putin! Giant aid to Ukraine RUSSIA-UKRAINE WAR NEWS

A written statement from the EU Commission said that in light of the growing humanitarian needs in Ukraine, October 205 million in additional assistance will be provided on the occasion of the visit of Janez Lenarcic, the Commission's member in charge of Crisis Management, to the region.

Thus, it was stated that the value of the assistance provided since the beginning of the war has reached 700 million euros, of which 13 million euros have been allocated to projects in Moldova.
The statement included the following statements by Lenarcic:
"we have witnessed unnecessary suffering and numerous violations of international humanitarian law for more than 100 days. In this moment of crisis, our task is to be on the side of the most vulnerable. We responded quickly, significantly increasing our presence in Ukraine. With this fund, our humanitarian partners provide food, water, health, housing, protection and cash assistance. We are also working closely with the Ukrainian authorities to ensure that the assistance provided by the EU member states is in line with the ever-evolving needs. We have delivered millions of life-saving supplies to Ukrainians through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism and we are committed to supporting Ukraine as much as necessary."

Lenarcic will meet with humanitarian organizations and senior Ukrainian government officials to help coordinate the EU's crisis response on the ground.
