    Excellent commentary on this Star Trek show. Kurtzman may have a sexual fetish about strong black women and that might explain the trend. Regardless, feminism is definitely in play here. The narrative of black women being so amazing is just narrative. I work with many black females and NONE of them are amazing in anyway. It's 'amazing' that they show up to work on time and do any work and it would BE amazing if any of them ever did any physical labor, but they leave that to the White males.
