Slide in the Woods is a creepy PS1 styled horror game where a playground slide takes you to a dark place and embroils you in an ancient ritual.

In Slide in the Woods you find yourself alone in a forest clearing with a large tubular playground slide. You can climb the steps and slide down the slide, but a lot of the time when you do so, something changes, things get darker and eventually it takes you to a very dark place indeed…

Slide in the Woods is a great little horror game that takes a simple childhood pleasure and makes it terrifying. There’s a real sense of tension each time you enter the slide and the eerie brutal architecture of the dark place is very unsettling. Combine this with some great audio design that has you on edge throughout and you’ve got a game that will make you think twice about going near a slide ever again!
