Commentary: Ride-hailing and food delivery services may not survive inflation

Uber, the ride-hailing and food-delivery service, is now valued at US$49 billion, down from a high of US$125 billion in early 2021. DoorDash, a takeaway delivery service in the United States, has dropped from roughly US$90 billion to US$28 billion in the same time span.
