Hunting California's Tule Elk | Mark V. Peterson Hunting

Back in 2016, Mark Peterson and his father Earl Peterson traveled to California to hunt Tule elk. Tule elk can only be found in California and have a very small range. Mark and Earl are hunting in early July, and the temperatures at the hottest parts of the day are in the triple digits. In July, Tule elk are grouped in big herds; finding them is limited to the morning and evenings of each day. Can Mark and Earl brave the heat and harvest a big Tule bull elk?Show more
