When planted, Spear-Mint plants five (5) Spikerocks. (+1 Spikerock level OR +1 Spikerock per level.)
Spear-Mint boosts its family for six (6) seconds - (+1 per level).
Spear-Mint's family consists of:
Bloomerang
Cactus
Dartichoke
Homing Thistle
Laser Bean
Spikerock
Spikeweed
Pokra
Bramble Bush

So plants which can pierce and poke are included here and there is a nice synergy here with close range/melee plants and long range attackers.

While these plants can work together, apart from the Spikerocks planted, this is a relatively weak Mint. Six (6) seconds is not that long - although the boosts for Spear-Mint plants are nice.

Bottom line - Spear-Mint is a mid-range Mint. There are better ones out there but you could do worse.
