Today we will look at changes and updates to the Firefox Hardening guide. These tips will help you keep using FireFox and be sure we are private and secure when we are using it.

1.) Start in basic settings
-DNS over HTTPS
-Pocket, Suggested

2.) About:Config:
Advantages - Easy and Fast
Disadvantages - Needs reset on each install
Consider the following:
-Geolocation
-extensions.pictureinpicture.enable_picture_in_picture_overrides
-Notification
-Pocket
-Telemetry
-DNS over HTTPS
-privacy.globalprivacycontrol.enabled set to true

3.) Addons
Consider:
-ublock
-privacy badger
-Startpage Privacy Protection
-ClearURLs (Removes tracker variables from urls - Note: it may impact affiliate programs)
-NoScript

4.) Policies
Advantages - Easy to deploy multiple places quickly; can keep a document in backups and grow it as Firefox releases new features
Disadvantages - Can be harder to know how to use it
Check policies on about:policies
-Setup the policy
-Save as policies.json
-Place in distribution folder. Find this folder at about:support
-On Linux, usually /usr/lib/firefox/distribution
-Can be applied to Mac and Windows as well, check the install location for where to do that
