Guns in America: Uvalde Elementary School Massacre

On Tuesday, May 24, 2022- 19 children and two adults were executed during school hours on school grounds at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas. The gunman was a 18 year old local man who was graduating from the Uvalde highschool, entered an unlocked door into the school carrying AR-15 riles and ammunition. He opened fire on the children, who desperately sought cover.

Reports state that it took police over 40 minutes to enter the building after arriving on scene 15 minutes after gunfire began. That means that this male was in the elementary school for upwards of one full hour, without disruption.

The police response is unconsciounable.
