Welcome to this Morning's Bible Study with me as we walk through John 1:1-5.
What is the passage saying?
-What does this mean for me?
1. Jesus Was in the Beginning - Eternal
-I should trust Jesus to know
2.Jesus is the revelation of God
-I should listen to Him
3.Jesus is in Perfect fellowship with God
-I should seek good relationships with others and with God
4.Jesus is fully God
-I should respect and worship Jesus
5.Jesus is equal yet separate from God the Father and God the Holy Spirit
-I should seek to understand what God says of Himself
6.Jesus created everything
-I should obey Him
-I should trust His power
7.In Jesus is Life
-I should follow and worship Jesus
-I should come to Him for forgiveness
8. In Jesus is Light
-I should remember Jesus reveals and judges everything
-I should find hope in Jesus
9.In Jesus is no Darkness
-I should not sin
-I should not pretend Jesus is okay with sin
10.Jesus shines in the darkness
-I should find forgiveness in Jesus
-I should take His Judgement seriously
11.Jesus ways are not understood by evil
-I should not expect to be understood
-The world doesn't understand God ... God must teach me
