US criticized for banning some Latin American countries from regional summit

The US move to exclude Venezuela, Nicaragua and Cuba from the Summit of the Americas has been slammed by the Chilean president, while the Mexican and Guatemalan leaders refused to attend in protest. However, Washington still expects the summit to be successful.
