Porky Pig is a police officer, riding a police car that is named 6 7/8. He gets a call from his chief to go investigate strange things happening at an old house named Belly Acres. The house is haunted to the core by cut-up, and the mischievous ghost plays a series of pranks on the unsuspecting pig. As Porky knocks on the door to enter the haunted house, the ghost does a lady voice "Come in." Porky enters, already frightened. As he proceeds into the house, the ghost places Frogs into a pair of shoes to look like a person walking, as Porky does not notice, the laces of the shoes get caught on a wheeled coat hanger pole, which then rips off a curtain to make it look like a person with a cloak on. It immediately scares Porky, followed by the ghost frightening him. Porky runs upstairs and lands in the ghost's arms without realizing it, until the ghost says, "What's the matter baby?" Porky is finally scared out of the house. However, the pig has the final laugh, in a racial element with his back-firing car covering the ghost in soot and the ghost doing a Rochester Anderson imitation: "My oh my, tattletale grey!"
