Multiple bar owners tell KATU they're now taking things into their own hands.

Places like Fuse and Candy watched break-ins happen repeatedly, along with stolen cameras and damaged property.

Now businesses are coming together, hiring private security to patrol the area. Azim Patel says this comes after trying other measures, like cameras and motion sensors.
