Richmond Rheem Heatpump Water heater

UPDATED Information: still have this unit. This is an information video with no commentary. to show how loud the Richmond Rheem Heatpump water heater is. The flaw with this unit is the fact that when you put it in "electric mode" during the winter time. every 72 hours it will cycle back to "heat pump" only mode from Electric. Which will freeze out pipes. It is a design flaw. Model 10E50-HP530. Draws approx 10,000 WATTS of electricity in "electric only mode". Rheem Refuses to address the issue with their controller and I would state that this unit is too expensive to run in the wintertime if you live outside of the South. This was designed by a Team in Georgia and it is only meant for the Southern United States. if you live in the Middle US or further north. Don't buy it.
