'An epidemic': Detroit police agencies take new steps in combatting violent gun crimes

According to recent statistics, a violent crime reduction initiative in Wayne County since the start of the year has led to more than 50 illegal guns taken off the streets and more than 300 arrests. Still, law enforcement and the community agree more must be done.
