Flood Waters Coming Out of Dam

I took this a few weeks back after a good bit of heavy rain that we got in our area. The Floodwaters are coming out of two flood gates here. The day before there were three flood gates open and the floodwaters were coming out of the dam in monumental proportion. I have only seen it this high one other time and that was right after Hurricane Hugo.
The second half of the video is on the other side of the bridge. There is a small cofferdam that diverts the water away from its original natural path. Starting this year in 2021, they are making a state park on the other side of the cofferdam, adding canoe and kayak launches, and putting in a flow gate in the cofferdam to allow water to go down its natural path. They say that there are class 4 and 5 rapids down that path. There was also a 50 ft waterfall down the original path that should be restored as well.
