Violence erupted in Kanpur city of Uttar Pradesh on Friday as members of the Muslim community clashed with police. According to reports, the violence broke out in the Becongunj area near Yatimkhana after police baton-charged some locals during bandh to protest the alleged insult to Prophet Muhammad. Four people were injured in the clashes while police fired in air to disperse the mob. Watch the video for more details.
