God is good all the time 536: "In the midst of"...God or Man

That phrase is one that we here on occasion. What does it mean and how is it used? Well it generally means in the middle of...usually something that is greater than whatever is being spoken about. So in this case we are speaking about being in the midst of God or God being in the midst of man. You see this is a phrase that many use to show power over something or someone. So as we can see that someone who means that God is in the midst of me then they are meaning that God is smaller than the presence of ourselves...which is a big misunderstanding of the way God and Jesus ever speak about themselves in scripture. Join me as I look at this phrase and see if I can help to understand what is it to be in the midst of God.
