Today has been overall a very hectic, and inopportune day for training. Humid as hell, resulting in me sweating like a pig. I didn't get as much sleep as I would have liked, due to life complications, so I was feeling pretty tired, and not strong at all, today. The weight didn't feel heavy necessarily, but my body and my mind was just not on it, today, and my muscle connections/ques were just non-existent; resulting in the weight moving slower. I was also expecting an appointment with an airco worker any moment, as he was supposed to come earlier, but due to rescheduling, he was slated to come during when I am usually busy with my workout, so I had to quickly rush, to get it done in time. I also forgot to put my belt on, during my last warm up set, which probably didn't me any favors. I very nearly almost forgot to put on my belt AGAIN, during this set, too. And on top of THAT, I forgot to warm up my lats, so I put the lat pulldown bar up quickly to do some quick reps, to try and warm them up a bit. HOWEVER, I forgot to remove it afterwards, forcing it to bonk against my head, after every. Damn. Rep. Despite EVERYTHING, the set actually felt pretty fine, surprisingly. I was only going to go for five, but it felt easy enough, that I thought I would do one more. I think I still had another 3 or 4 reps in the tank, at least, so that's a good sign. My previous best is 10 reps with this weight, I believe, but I was not going to go anywhere near that, due to how I was feeling, and not to overtax myself. A crap, and unlucky day, but I got the work in, and that's what matters 🤟🏻.
