Just the Facts, Ma'am!

One of the most unfortunate aspects of the current political controversies within the United States of America is the difficulty individuals with different political views are having in communicating with one another. All too often, attempts at sincere discussion simply degenerate into reiteration of propaganda or, even worse simple dismissive name-calling. We would all be better off putting aside initially our different political views and focusing instead on what we may be able to agree with concerning the facts of a specific situation or topic.
