NT Bible Study 27: Jesus expels merchants-introduction (Jesus to Passover b/f John in prison part 2)

This is a comparative Bible study on the events surrounding Jesus attending the Passover (John 2:12 – 4:43) before John the Baptist was put in prison. This 2nd part begins to discuss Jesus driving the merchants from the temple and compares it to accounts of Jesus taking similar action later in his ministry (Matthew 21:12-13, Deuteronomy 16:2-7, Mark 11:15-17, Luke 19:45-46). (Other verses briefly referenced: Exodus 23:14-17, Matthew 13:45, Isaiah 56:7). Overall, this is our 27th New Testament (NT) Bible study. I'm a layperson, hoping to witness things I believe I've learned through Bible study, and would like to share this information as a friend would with a friend.
