I have a big tropical fish aquarium in my house. Earlier this year I completed a built-in cabinet system in my family room. One of the reasons for this project was to have a place for my new 90-gallon aquarium. I had a 75 gallon on its own stand, but it was taking up valuable real estate in the room. So, with the new tank purchased and the dimensions known, I was able to build a cabinet that fit the spot, and could support the 750 pounds of tropical fish, glass, water, sand, and rocks.

I started out by setting the tank up, adding the filter, heater, sand, plants, and a giant shipwreck sculpture. Then it was a matter of moving the water from the old tank to the new tank, and topping it off with fresh water. And during this entire process I was transferring the fish from one tank to the next. I think they really like their new home!
