The other night I pulled up a video by Timothy Dixon and he sang this song at the beginning of the video. I was totally drawn not only to the song but to the anointing that was all over it when he sang it. He is one of my favorite artists right now. So I couldn't put it down, I just had to sing it.
This is an old country gospel song, sung by many known artists. Jim Reeves, Skeeter Davis, Jimmy Swaggart and more.
So many today have not taken the time to talk with the Lord and it is so sad. So much they have no idea of what they are missing out on. Yet their lives are upside down.
Just think of the person you love the most in this world ignoring you and only coming to you when they need something. That is how our Heavenly Father must feel. He created us and gave us life everlasting forever if we so choose it. There is nothing according to His Word that He will not do for us. He is just waiting for us to come and talk to Him. I can't honestly figure out what people do with their time if they're not talking to Him.
He gave you everything, give Him something back today. Love on Him the way you want to be loved on. All you have to do is ask and He is ready to listen and answer everything you need to know.
