Cutting a new road through the woods & installing a 20 foot culvert pipe across washed out ditch

Super hilly terrain. Lot's of rocks and boulders. Tight budget. Cutting a new road through the woods. Installing a big culvert pipe across a washed out ditch, and more! Join us today for another very interesting and successful deep woods land management project, and land improvement project as I tackle another day on this client 5 acre property located near the Garden of the Gods in Southern Illinois. This is VERY steep and very remote country here so there is NO excavation job that will be 'easy' to accomplish! In today's mission I'll be using my bobcat e42 R2 series mini excavator to do some land clearing first of some oak trees to cut a new road through the woods and then I will tackle a steep ditch crossing that has been washed out, and the current 12 inch culvert pipe was also washed out since it could not handle the water volume coming down this ditch. This was a used 24" x 20' steel culvert pipe that I had been saving for just such a job as this one. Oh, and if you are the first one to comment where, or who I got this pipe from I will send out a cool Mongo attachments sweatshirt! In case you are new to the channel here are the first couple of episodes of our latest client land management & land improvement project series:
