Possible Roman Grave

When we were filming our Loch Thom documentary We became aware of a possible grave find within the Loch. We were in the process of finishing up our filming and decided to take some footage of the site. There was a short time frame for investigation and it appears that the window has now been firmly closed. Local authorities were made aware of the find but were unable to act on time due to staffing, lockdown restrictions and other factors. The gravesite has now once again been lost under the water of the loch. We have no way of knowing if and when it will every be visible again. The grave was only visible for about a week when the water level was at its lowest. The loch was being partially drained for maintenance work to be carried out. There are the remains of a Roman road going through the lock and there have been significant finds in the past very close to this location. Perhaps we will never know the truth about this discovery.
