State Dept. of Health aims to speed up vaccine rollout soon

The state’s Department of Health said Wednesday evening it is cautiously optimistic that its COVID-19 vaccine rollout plan could be accelerated soon. By the end of this week nearly 750-thousand doses of both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will have been sent to the state, though the latest data, which may be several days behind, shows just over 200-thousand doses have been administered.
