I've had my Husqvarna 455 Rancher chainsaw for a couple years now and I can't believe I'm just now realizing I've had this one critical maintenance item wrong for a while now.

I left out a couple facts in this video, so here's what you need to know:
^^Stihl 3/8P (picco) low profile chains take 5/32" file (this is what my Stihl MS 181c uses)
^^Stihl 3/8 standard chains take 13/64" file
^^Husqvarna/Oregon 3/8 0.050 chains take 7/32" file, though some people say the 13/64" will work fine too.

I've done such a poor job at at keeping my chain sharp on the 455 Rancher that I've gone out and purchased a new saw (the Echo CS-590), thinking I just need a more powerful saw. We'll see how it performs after a few solid uses.
