Secret of Evermore Playthrough Ep. 4 - Loser With a Stick

This is episode 4 of our playthrough of Secret of Evermore, a game released by my favorite game studio of all time - Squaresoft - in 1995. This game came two years after the release of the famous Secret of Mana. And - although the game engine used in this game is the same - the two games have few other similarities.

When I first bought this game as a teenager in 1995, I was revved up to play a sequel to Secret of Mana, as this game was *not* that, I was quite disappointed. It was for that reason that I wanted to pick up the game again with fresh eyes and see if I judged it too harshly the first time around.
