- Go to a lot of socials and try to dance with as many follows as possible
** TIP: set a goal to practice a specific move whenever you go to a social event and try to implement this move into your dance whenever you are dancing with a new follow
- Work on your musicality
Learn the structure of bachata songs (1) (2)
Listen to a lot of bachata music (1) (2) (3)
- Improve your footwork (1) (2)
- Learn new figures / combinations by watching clips from the internet (1) (2) (3) (4) (5)
** TIP: focus on the elements of the figures / combinations and not on the figures / combinations as a whole
- Watch clips from socials for inspiration (1)
** TIP: try to find elements/moves that you already know while watching the clips
- Watch clips of professional bachata dancers for inspiration (1)
- Learn other dances (e.g., Salsa, Kizomba, Zouk, Ballroom Dances)
