The finale. It isn't the Mechwarrior 3 ending. But it is an ending. Facing a massive number of Waffles for a dropship. Getting to fight them down to the last. and finally taking the prize that is ours.

And that is the end of it. As for the ending. Look to the Mechwarrior 3 ending. That is what would play after this misison's completion wither it was a shuttle or a drop ship. The hardware left behind was substantual but there was no manufacturing or training facilities left for any new pilots or mechs to be fielded.
