The Militarization Of DC Signals Weakness, Not Strength

The massive troop build up in Washington heading into inauguration day is meant to signal that the United States government is still very powerful and in control of America. This kind of move however is more common amongst military dictatorships, not western democracies who typically derive their legitimacy from the idea that their elections are free and fair. The fact that the US regime is resorting to such measures signals that it recognizes just how much democratic legitimacy has been lost since November 3rd.
