In this tutorial I teach you how you can improve performance in DaVinci Resolve using Optimized media. This will speed up your editing by creating lower quality proxy files to edit on but still export a full quality resolution video.

*NOTES*

I'm aware i'm using the American spelling of Optimised.
I'm also aware I refer to Graphics card/Hardware Encoding a few times during this video. The free version of Resolve does not use hardware video encoding in a lot of places, however free users are most likly to be the users who gain the most performance using Optimised media.

Bitchute users: I'd appreciate a view on youtube too as it helps support the channel :) https://youtu.be/ZIcIdy5tJks
